A New Day!

What a beautiful day in the Lord this is!  God is so good!  God wants to make sure that you know that you are SPECIAL!!!  He is on your side!  What a blessing we have in knowing that our God wants only the best for us!

Everyone has a past, but God makes it clear in His Word that we are not to dwell in the past.  Instead, He tells us to forget what is behind!  I know that this is hard, but with God's help all of us can strive toward the life that God has called each one of us to do.  The world and those around us want to continually throw our mistakes in our face, but this is not how God operates.  From the moment a person asks forgiveness, God not only forgives but He forgets it too.  What a blessing!  Praise the Lord!

The devil wants us to stay trapped in the bad things of our past.  This is why holding on to things in our past seems to be a common trend that the devil uses to keep God's people in bondage.  It can happen more easily than you would think.  This is why Paul tells us in 2 Corinthians 10:5, to take captive every thought and make it obedient to Christ.  It may be a battle, but God will give you the victory if you keep pressing forward!

Never Give UP!  Keep pressing on!!!

Dear God, In Jesus name, I come to you and ask you to touch each person that is reading this post.  Dear God, I ask that you surround them with Your presence and love!  Hold them tightly today and show them that they are loved!  I praise you, God, for who You are!  You are an amazing, God!  We are so blessed to have a Heavenly Father like you!  We praise You for all things!  Dear God, I pray in Jesus name that You would anoint each person right now.  That You would lift them up.  That You would comfort them.  That You would hold them.  That You would free them from the lies of the enemy who wants to keep them held in bondage.  I praise You God that You are bigger than any past or problem that we have.  I praise You God that You want to free each one of us right now.  Dear God, I pray that you will speak truth into our hearts and minds.  I pray that you will help each of us to let go of our past and press on to the future that You have called us too.  Dear God, I pray that You give each one of us the strength to move forward!  In Jesus name, Amen!

Brothers, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it.  But one thing I do:  Forgetting what is behind and straining what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus. Philippians 3:13-14 (NIV)
